About the Westerville Ballet Company

The Westerville Ballet Company was founded in the spring of 2001.This business venture is an extension of Straub Dance Center,which has been in business in Westerville for nearly 40 years.

We are very proud to continue presenting "The Nutcracker" to the Westerville and central Ohio community. The performances in 2001, 2002, 2003, 2005 and 2007 were met with much fanfare and we look forward to continuing this tradition for years to come.

The cast includes almost 90 area children and adults joined by two professional guest artists to present Tchaikovsky's magical full-length "Nutcracker". All performances are staged right in the Westerville community at Cowan Hall on the campus of Otterbein College.

The Westerville Ballet Company has been very honored by the endorsement and support from businesses in the community through business sponsorships, corporate row purchases, program advertisements and individual ticket sales.

The Westerville Ballet Company also is blessed with the wonderful support from a large number of the cast member's parents, who are volunteering to make this a truly spectacular community event.
